Certain maps not visible to players

Hello all. I've done searching through the forums and it seems that, while others have had my problem, their solutions aren't working for me. I have the Curse of Strahd module that I bought off of the Marketplace and for which I made a custom tavern map. The Tavern shows up fine and as intended. When I dragged the players to the Barovia "overworld map", my players could only see a dark, blank screen. I've tried every permutation of turning fog of war on and off. The maps do have dynamic lighting, so I'm not sure if that's a factor. I'd be happy to provide screenshots if someone could recommend what they would need to look at. Thank you so much in advance; I'm a new DM to 5e and want to give the best possible experience for my players.

Check the vision settings for the default tokens associated with those characters. If vision was added to the tokens but the default token was not updated, then the next time the characters are dragged out, the vision settings will revert to the last saved version.
David, could I ask what you mean by default tokens? Sorry, I'm still pretty new to Roll20.

For dynamic lighting to to work, you must have to things: Light to see by, and a token with SIght. There are currently two DL solutions: LDL (older, more stable) and UDL (under development but prettier). I would suggest LDL until UDL is finalized. However, ultimately, you should choose whatever the rest of your module is using. DL is chosen in the page settings. For a player to see, they must have a token on the map that represents a character they control. That token must have sight enabled. They either need an external light source (light-emitting object on the DL or Token layer), or must emit their own light. In the case of UDL, they can have Night Vision turned on. Once you have a token set properly, then make it the default token. If you change settings in the future, make that changed token the default token, or the next time you drag it out onto a map, you will get the last-saved settings. Finally, if you are using regular Fog of War, the default is to obscure the entire map when turned on, and to only show areas that are specifically revealed with the reveal tool. If you use regular FoW and do not reveal areas, your players will see nothing, regardless of any DL or token settings. I would stringly suggest going to the Help Center and reading the pages on Dynamic Lighting and Token setup. Here is a video I made on the latter: Roll20TnT Linking Tokens and Journals

What Keith said :) Creating/editing the default token is explained around 12:58 in Keith's video.
Keith, thanks for the video. I've ensured that all tokens are linked to the correct character sheet and that the default's have been set. I've played around a bit with the DL settings and making sure that each token has sight, but I'm still not able to fix my problem. I appreciate all the help you have been giving me so far. Thank you!

Is regular FoW off? You can also try testing with a  Dummy Account . It will give you truer results than any other method.
I tried doing this with a dummy account, and even with a separate instance of CoS running, and I'm still having issues.
