[online][5e] Casting call for a hobbyist podcast

We will be taking on episodic adventures set in a gritty magical wild west. Be ready for conflict ranging from 'Who poisoned the watering hole?' to 'How will we clear her name of the murder?' Looking for people with improv and sketch comedy experience. Players new to D&D are welcome! I will be interviewing one on one to see if the chemistry is good and the player can think on their feet. I want to put together a team of three people. Time and frequency are TBA, (most likely Wednesday PST evening) depending on what works for the people I find. Sessions will be about 3 hrs. I hope to hear from you!
Interested . . .
Have you streamed games or done podcasts before or is this your first foray into the field?
I'm a player (Chris) in a weekly Twitch stream: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/888110871 And have streamed a few games.
Hi there! I've been doing theatrical improv for about a decade, stand-up comedy for a little less, and have quite a bit of experience writing comedy, horror, and in between. I'm also a self-employed DM. I'm interested, but I'm wondering about the timing. How late in the evening would you have your recording/streaming? I'm looking at running a game on Wednesday evening EST right now, but I might be able to shift it around to make this work. As well, what kind of curation are you doing for participants? Do you do any warm-ups for games?
The time is still flexible. But I'm thinking weeknight or Saturday afternoon. Game time should last about 3 hrs. Planing on releasing a live episode then a cleaned up and edited version a few days later. For curation of participants, I've been talking to them one on one and running them through role play to see if they can think on their feet and put themselves in the shoes of a character and speak from a first-person perspective. I've put up listings on Reddit and have gotten over 20 responses. Out of that 6 conversations and out of that 2 people I think could work. I am looking for 3 people total. I was planning on doing improv style warm-up/team building.

Hello, I'm more than interested and willing to do an improv interview. I've been running Tabletops for close to 15 years, and have implemented improv skills to keep players engaged, interested, and genuinely invested into the emotional aspect of role-playing. I understand the importance of comedic timing, and know when and where to be serious. While I have little formal experience, I do have a few recorded sessions to get a prievew into my approach to storytelling. The only struggle I may have is the first-person aspect could take me a second, as I often narrate in the third, and speak in the first. I imagine mostly due to my tenure as a GM. That being said I'm a dedicated person when it comes to something I'm invested in and would have no issue practicing to narrate action in the first as well.
