New to both DnD and roll20. Want to learn and play with my college group. Is there a group that would teach me?

Hey, so I am new to both DnD and roll20, been interested for a while tho. I want to start playing but can't understand anything. Saw some videos but did not get a lot out of them. Is anyone willing to teach me by maybe playing some games? I would really appreciate it, I really want to get into DnD and start having some fun.
