I also started having issues seeing the map, when scrolling down the bottom part disappears. I use the mozilla web browser but have also tried using microsoft edge. I have tried on a different computer as well and can't see other players char sheets from the other computer either. This started today and was previously not an issue.

This really sounds like a permissions issue, but without your GM being involved and posting screenshots of settings that only the GM can see, it is impossible to tell.  Are you in any other games where you can see if you have issues viewing character sheets?

If your GM is really, really sure you have the correct permissions set, you can try changing your name in game (in the Settings tab of the right hand sidebar), then getting the GM to remove all the permissions and set them again. There might be a screwy reference somewhere there.
