Hi there! First let me say thank you for looking into this post. Now, a bit about us. My wife and I have been playing TTRPGs for a few years now, almost exclusively with the same group, and while we do still enjoy that group, and consider them friends, we both feel like we'd like to seek out new experiences and new people to play with. The bulk of our play experience has been in Pathfinder 1E, with a few forays into D&D 5E and even a dip into Starfinder, but we both feel like Pathfinder is our favored system. We have two children, ages 3 and 11 months, and we try to play later in the evening so (hopefully) the kids are asleep. We're open to just about any setting and group, and just enjoy having a fun, relaxing time. I thought I'd share one of our recent character concepts that we haven't had a chance to make reality yet, to give you some idea of how we think. The characters in question were initially thought of as a twist on Rocket and Groot from the MCU, crossed with The Happening. The Groot character would be something along the lines of a sentient tree barbarian or brawler, while the Rocket would be a vine leshy druid. Their self-imposed mission would essentially be to see if they can co-exist with the fleshlings, as they'd call them, or if a culling would bein order. We thought a pair like this would provide a fun, 'alien mind' scenario, being able to give a 'plants-eye view' as it were.
