My recommendation would be to use internet image searches to get character images you are interested in. Then you can use an image editor like GIMP or Photoshop to make changes to the image, like giving the image transparency (if it doesn't already have it) and deleting all the background other than the actual portrait art. There are darker skin shades on some, but they are scattered throughout the various packs, so not something you can just get one pack to acquire.
