Grid and room numbers missing when player tokens visions goes there? Other issues too

As a DM i'm running Dungeon of the Mad Mage and a few other games. Then players can see an area using their vision my DM ability to see the gid lines disappears in that area the players enter as well as the discs with room numbers and any monsters the game has on the GM  info overlay layer all disappear so I end up forced to drag players tokens out of the rooms so I can move the monsters onto the token layer and the like. Also certain NPC's and lights in the scenes create odd black circles of darkness players can't see into even though it doesn't make sense.

I'm assuming you are using UDL? Those are known issues that the Devs are aware of and working on. It's been a while, though, so not sure of ETA for the fix. I'm still clinging to LDL as long as I can...

Seems to be that the players vision is black because something sheds light or has vision as an enemy maybe like a fire elemental is circled by black and if I turn off its light shedding it suddenly doesn't emit black... The thing is if I open a new game or open the old backup I had the issues of the grid disappearing around players vision stops being a thing :( but not sure if that will be a permanent fix or not and if I do that all the players character sheets in the current game and their tokens and all that junk have to be redone. Btw what's with these rollable tables macros in the Dungeon of the Madmage macro tab? Hitting the token button makes a token but it places it in the centre of the screen not in a place I choose and also it makes them all 10 feet even humans that should be 5 feet...

This is likely due to the scale of the map. .5 squares = 5 ft. Since the roller just places a graphic without regard to a specific size, it might display oddly on a non-standard grid.
