API scripts not copied when copying game

I recently set up a game as a template (Savage Worlds games) that included API scripts, character sheet, etc. When I copied it to create the actual game, the character sheet and API scripts were not copied. I had to manually select the character sheet and manually copy the API scripts.

I've been told this is normal. However, when I copy something, I expect it all to be there. Is this an issue or did I do something incorrectly?
