Hi all, I am a long time GM - a pro GM, if getting paid makes you pro - who's been out of things for quite some time and is getting back into gaming. As ever, a few ideas caught my attention... and yep, games get run straight off. But I've been having a full on wall of nope getting a game. That's a lot of important fun for me, because of a bunch of stuff I'm not private about, but not about to discuss on a form - suffice to say I'm not working and won't be for a while. Then I thought, I could put the power of money to better use than random map packs :) I'm going for a serious group or DM willing to run for a group (I do not have one, but am open to new people - and I can probably get people) - but actually, to run for me, not in a center of the story kind of way. But a game _about_ an Kryn Dynasty soldier, Battlemaster strategy type is my first love, but Echo Knight is too cool not to do. It's hard to explain because I have an image, an image thats 50% Redoran / Falmer from Morrowind, and 50% the bikini armour set - particularly the blindfold - taking Blindfighting from Tasha's at first level. A loyal, trusting soldier who isn't sold on reincarnation - but grew up in rough and tumble Asarius and so doesn't care what a person looks like, she barely even knows - a lot of her sensation is touch if not air motion or dark vision. So... an army brat. Maybe in an army story? Maybe in whatever your story you're telling now you have space in - I'm 60-40 social combat, but D&D combat is really central to the game - particularly with a fighter, even if most of their story isn't about that. Timeline? I have been roleplaying for 30 years, I have never done 1 to 20/Heroic/Mythic. So. Long term. -- There, I've got other images screaming in my head - I will say I have medicated ADHD, sometimes ideas just come full force. I'm going to keep looking, but if someone out there just gelled with my vision - I won't discuss money out here, but I believe GMs are vastly underpaid. I'd be doing more pro stuff if it wasn't for my rule of one on, one off (which can be playing) and the hopefully last of my fabulous health issues.
