Please fix the Hex Grid Snap so that it snaps to the hex layout and not an invisible square grid. Also please stop closing requests for this.

Please fix the Hex Grid Snap so that it snaps to the hex layout and not an invisible square grid. Its very frustrating to have the measure tool snap to the hex centers properly but the drawing tools do not. I may not mind so much if the squares actually lined up better on the hexes than they do. Please if this Also please stop closing requests for this. You close requests that do not get enough votes after 30 days but if you look thru the posts there are a lot of people commenting about this and would like it fixed but the posts do not receive sufficient votes in the time you allow for each individual one. This post https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/7500115/slug%7D notes it as a secondary issue. Ok, I'm done pleading for a fix to this. Thanks for reading.
If we can get this suggestion above ten votes, they won't close it. You have my vote.
And mine - only one more needed to survive.
Yay, 11 votes.... :)
I just noticed that there is a larger thread for exactly this topic here: https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/1410811/hexgrid-polygon-slash-line-tool-snapping I will move my vote there and hope you all do the same.
Has anybody released a youtube about surrounding multihex figures with invisible boxes so that they snap to the hex grid properly?
It took a while for me to notice this, considering I use a grid with grid snapping active at all times but, I notice in all the recent changes to page settings and UI, that the "Snap to grid" checkbox is now missing. It's been replaced with a simple switch that either activates the grid and its grid snapping entirely on or shuts the grid off completely. We have no option for having the grid on but leaving grid snapping off as we used to have. I would like to see this option return and would add a vote for it.

Well, it looks like I've now got 3 of my votes tied up to support hex suggestion topics because Roll20 staff completely ignore this forum and don't ever bother to merge topics.

Even this doesn't really work, unless there's some trick I'm unaware of. In the screenshot below, an invisible-box token that represents a 3-hex character will only ever be able to snap to one of the two colored-in positions. A token that snaps to the red triangle will never snap to the blue triangle unless it's first mirrored, which players can't do (though there is a labor-intensive workaround involving rollable tokens). In general, I have to say that roll20's hex handling is not impressive. Especially with the growing popularity of games like Lancer, I worry that it's driving players to other platforms.
