Roll20 on Single-Board-Computers

Hallo there, I am planning on building a "Roll20-Table" featuring a 32" Screen and four (one for aech player in the party) RaspberryPi 4s with 4GB of Ram. The setup I am currently beta-testing runs a 32-bit RaspbianOS with Chromuim, Pi is overclocked to 2,1GHz and actively cooled, Display resolution is set to 720p@60Hz. What I experience is that R20 is loading and working, but just a little too laggy to be fluently used in a live scenario. Firefox is even more laggy. I'm aware that the experience will never be like playing on a Threadripper, but IMHO it sould at least be possible to get this working in a more enjoyable manner. Has anyone tryed somthing like this and acheived to a usable outcome? P.S.: I was planning a switch to 64-bit Ububtu Mate with firefox, in hope of getting the system a little more snappy. Any suggestions welcome!

Describe the lag? You see it on panning the map, or... ? Let's say you use the Ruler tool, with visibility to All players.  Do you see the Ruler rotating, growing, shrinking, clearly smoothly and without lag? Let's say you roll dice in the chat, how much lag? With or without 3D Dice enabled? Let's say you move the Player Ribbon or Page selection to another Page, how long do you wait for the map to load? Next let's say you play a similar game & map page on Roll20, with LFG people or strangers from the internets, and you're on a standard laptop or desktop without the 4 in-room players.  Compare the lag that you'd see normally, versus the lag that you're experiencing in your setup.
It's slow at all. Pulling and scrolling the map causes tearing. Rolling dice is (rather)smooth in the chat, 3d dice are rolling slow as f#*k, so I disabled them. Haven't tried the ruler yet. Map loading is a little bit slower than on my laptop (2.6GHz 7th Gen. i7 dualcore with 16GB RAM via Chrome). BTW: Writing this on the Pi on Ubuntu via Firefox. What I can tell up to now is that Ubuntu+Firefox(with activated hardware acceleration) already is way smoother than RaspiOS, with the CPU overclocked to 2Ghz and the GPU to 750MHz. Way less tearing and 3d dice could even be used if one wanted so. Tips anyone to improve this more?
