OK, after applying for five different games on Join A Game and not even getting an inbox response saying "We're full" or "We're not interested", I'm going to try this. Longtime roleplayer that is GMing two different private games on here (TSR's Marvel Advanced and CofC7E) currently and has run D&D5E in the past. But all I do is DM other than some random one-shots I've been invited to, and I want to actually participate in a *campaign* as a player. Prefer a good balance of roleplaying/combat, open to different DM playstyles, and I believe in respect of the GM and other players. Ultimately, I want to make new friends that just happen to roleplay together. And if I commit to a game (and especially if the DM and players give me a fair shot) I tend to bond to the game in a way that DMs and other players hopefully appreciate) Experienced in D&D5E and own a couple of sourcebooks. Experienced in CofC 7th Edition. Love superhero campaigns but I don't know systems other than TSR Marvel. Have played Pathfinder and Vampire: The Masquerade but not in awhile. Open to other systems depending on how flexible the GM is with my learning curve. Table must be nontoxic and welcoming to all, regardless of race, gender, orientation, disability, etc. (I personally am a straight white older male who is autistic, but have zero tolerance for any toxicity towards other players). That includes player and GM - nontraditional GMs especially welcome to invite me, but basic human kindness and respect is kind of a bare minimum. I am not against pay to play within reason, but I probably won't have a payment available until Friday April 9th at the earliest. I am medically retired, and I run my current games on the weekends, so I'm especially looking for games that play on the weekdays between 8 AM and 4 PM Eastern Daylight Time (US) so I'm not denying my wife my time in the evenings regularly. I unfortunately only know US English so that may limit overseas games that would be interested in me Thanks in advance for considering me. :)
