The API has not worked for me

This is true for both the chrome and firefox browsers while an alternate account was logged into my test game. All browser extensions are off. My antivirus is off. I have turned off every script one by one and turned them on one by one in various orders. The only message I have been able to entice out of the console is, "No existing sandbox found. Preparing sandbox to start on game activity." At what point do I get a refund from roll20? I get a pro membership to use the API and then it doesn't work.

Does it do this for all your games? If it is only one, you might try making a copy of that game. Have you worked through the troubleshooting steps? https://wiki.roll20.net/Solving_Technical_Issues If you decide to go for a refund, you would do that through the help center. Step 4 has a link.

Question: This is normally the message you would see if the game were not currently running. Do you have them open in separate tabs, Game running in one and the API displaying in the other? Also, you said an "alternate account" is there a reason you are not testing with your main account?
The game is absolutely running while testing, with an extra account in it as per certain suggestions online. Everything is as it should be. And yet it does not work.

Well all I can say is that's not a normal situation. If you'd like to invite me to your game and promote me to GM status, I'd be happy to poke around and see if I can find the issue. (Don't send a join link in open forum—it can lead to vandalism and other unpleasantness).
