Hey kiddos, I'm Kat and I am putting together an all ladies game of Kids on Bikes! Don't know the game? Don't worry, neither do we! I'll be coaching all the players through their first game set at a summer camp deep in the mountains where strange things happen. If this has piqued your interest and if you have 5-6 Saturdays to spare, why not spend it with us sitting around a campfire and running away from swamp beasts and strange lab experiments! Welcome to Camp everyone! Info for the player It’ll be a weekly game scheduled for 7:30pm BST but we will only be doing 4-6 sessions of the game itself. May 1st will be our Session 0. Sessions will run about 4 hours long. Kids on Bikes is mainly an RP based game, so there won't be much fighting, it is mostly about interacting with the world, uncovering secrets and trying to survive the summer. All the players will be playing children and teens roughly in the age range of 12-16 years old. If you want to play an 18-year-old camp counsellor, or someones 8-year-old little bother that can definitely be discussed but just keep in mind that this game features themes of kids and teens that are in way over their heads in a setting where parents either don't believe them or are unwilling to help. As the title suggests this is an all girls game. Now I love playing with any and all players but I really just want to put together a strong group of ladies looking to have some fun RP experiences in a goofy but safe space. Lastly, KoB is a game based on tropes instead of classes. Think of high school stereotypes like the Dumb Jock, the Popular Kid and the Stoner. Now while this game is also about breaking these stereotypes and proving there is more to a lable this is the basic idea for character creation so keep this in mind when suggesting your ideas below. What type of personality/stereotypes would your character fit in? Info for the character So as of today there is virtually nothing known about our Mysterious Summer Camp because one of the great parts of the game is.... The players make the world! During our Session 0 (May 1st) I'll be asking questions about the camp, nearby towns, strange rumours and any other ideas you guys have. From there I will design what is true and what isn't about the stories around to camp. Everything, even the name of the Camp is up to you guys! Even though the group will be all girls you can make your character any gender The only things established about the camp so far is that: 1) The camp is located deep in the mountains and around a lake 2) There is an abandoned factory across from the camp and a "bad kids" camp 3) All the campers come from one of two nearby small mountain towns, so you may not all know each other at the start of the game unless you are from the same town or have been to camp before. Lastly, Camp will be set in the early 90s!
