This way, you can build meaningful characters, story arcs, and more. Similar to other west marches servers, yes, but with a few key points that may not be in your traditional server: An in-depth crafting system for all your item needs. 30 days of downtime a week that actually matters. Fast-paced time with one week being a full month in-game. Player shops running the economy (with some help from staff to prevent crashes). Guilds with major benefits. I want to welcome you to my post and give you an idea of what running games on this server will be like. You are required to use a VTT that is free for players or no VTT at all. I will be using Roll20, for example. You can use Roll20, Foundry, or simply use Discord. You are not required to be experienced, however. If you’ve never DM’d before, we’d love to help teach you. There is a steep learning curve to DMing, but we’ll help you manage it. You will trip up, but hopefully not too much. You will be required to run one game a real-life month. If nobody signs up and it gets canceled, that still counts because you tried. Don’t purposely make a game that you won’t actually run please. Just once a month; that shouldn’t be extremely hard. If you go on vacation or there are other circumstances, obviously you will be okay. Staff positions are open to all DMs. These require extra work on top of running games for the community. These positions include organizing game info, approving downtime use, monitoring the shops, approving and adding members to guilds, and running/suggesting events.
