Start Date: 23 June 2021 Day of the Week: Wednesdays Time: 17-21 GMT (19-23 CEST) Language: English I’m a veteran GM and am looking to run a 5E game. I’m looking for 2-3 more players. This will be a long term campaign. It will be an Exploration/Travel campaign. Information on the setting: A new world, recently discovered, built upon the ruins of a far older world. The region is made of spread out islands, cities and towns on them just clinging to civilization. There is a lot to explore, a lot of treasures to be had, and a lot of monsters to be beaten back. The characters will start off knowing one another. The starting city will be the only major point of civilization in this new world, the rest of the world a rough frontier world. People have come to this region for their own reasons, but perhaps soon, they may have a new cause. My expectations: 1: 18+ Years old. This isn’t for NSFW content but I want to deal with adults. 2: Not accepting premade groups. I have 3 players already, one I know from real life and two others I’ve met in other games. 3: Discord Voice Chat is a must. The game will be played primarily via voice, not through text. 4. Punctual. We each are giving up a portion of our time. I (the DM) take extra time to write the story and prepare things for the next week. I view it as incredibly rude to be late. You being late leaves me and the other players waiting. If you have to be late due to real life things, I expect the courtesy of telling us as soon as possible. We also understand that emergencies happen. 5: This is a long term campaign. I intend to play it for many months, approaching a year. Character Creation: 1: Non-Monster Characters. This is the edge of civilization, a frontier, filled with mistrust of those who might not have the interests of civilization at heart. 2: This will be a “good” aligned campaign. Players are expected to build and play cooperative characters. 3: It will be a casual game, focused more on the story. Don’t expect power built or min-max characters. 4: Your character has to make sense. If you take an ability because it is the most powerful option, but it makes no logical sense, that choice will be rejected. A Cleric of a God who hates undead taking an undead animation spell because it is the most powerful summon, for example. 5: It will be an exploration/travel campaign. Your inventory weight will matter. Things such as food and water will also matter. Plan for this in your initial inventory purchases. What you can expect of me: 1: Free. I will not be expecting any money for this. I am doing this for my own enjoyment. 2: I will create a story that will be unique and draw you in. I am really good at this. 3: I will be on time, ready to play at the appointed time 4: I am willing to talk with you about your character's goals and incorporate them into the wider story. 5: I have GMed for 20 years. I have been in a lot of different situations and am pretty quick thinking on my feet. 6: I have a lot of experience in a lot of systems, from D&D to World of Darkness, Star Wars, Call of Cthulhu. This will be my first 5E Game however. How to Apply: Send me a Private Message here, on the forums. I want some basic information from you: 1: Your timezone 2: How much Roleplay experience do you have 3: that you are an adult. (I don’t need documents or anything, just confirming you understand that I am looking for adults only) 4: Optional: Potential Character concepts, wishes and ideas. When I’ve reviewed your application, I will get back to you as soon as possible. I hope to hear from you soon. Best Regards
