Dwarinn says " I agree to wait for Trev's armor to be altered, Centaurs need protection too. HAHAHA, plus Centaurs are heavy, I don't want him getting all beat up until he fall unconscious.  Have ye ever try picking up and moving a centaur! It ain't no fun." "If ye be looking for a leader, I'd be the one you looking for!  Di spite what ye may think about Dwarves, I'd listen to what each of ye have to say, and weigh it carefully, then make the best decision from the parties input.  I'd also put a stop to any whiny people who don't get their way after I make a well thought out decision, you can be sure of that!  But if everyone wants to continue to vote I'm good with that too. HAHAHAHAHA" "Well now, as for magic items we find, I agree with Hunter and Eisen on this issue.  I'd also say we shouldn't be hasty in selling magic items we may find.  It may not be useful to us now, but it may be useful later.  Better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it, I say." "You finally Taking plans again Beau , good for you! HAHAHAHAHA.  I'll stand with ye as bait, and fight this blight on this town.  I'll help with building tree stands and shoring up the cabin.  You mentioned Beau, oil at one time, has the tar replaced the oil, or is it in addition too?  No matter, I like Fire light, whether by oil or by tar. HAHAHAHA"
Byron said: ((yup we each got 300)) Cool
Beau looks the dwarf over "Tar and oil. Oil just dries out after a few minutes. I say we pick a farm house and board it up and make sure the shades can't walk through the walls... Make a roof access if we really want. Get our archer and magic cannon up and hidden or at least away from the main battle until the vampire comes. I just see about 6 shades coming after each one and Eisen, no offense but you cant stop a cow from licking you."

@Rob Beau will go with Eisen to the Magistrates house during their two day wait. He will ask to see him and say "Good Magistrate, your story you told to our heroic dwarf inspired me. The vampire attacked us with his shades... We lost our cleric Trev and I saw everything folding. I lost my never and ran. I ran right toward our fallen friend and I saw his body. I could have escaped but my group would have died.  Sometimes I feel what happens to us can be a lesson for others. Your tale impressed my heart to do as you wished you had done when you lost your best friend... So I stayed and fought. Thank you sir for your vulnerability, it made a difference in my life and we only lost one because of it." Beau will nod and expect to leave unless the Magistrate stops him.
Arlen looks at you and his eyes seem to soften a bit. He nods and says, "I am sorry for your loss. The centaur was made of strong stuff. I would have wanted to adventure with him in my younger days." As you walk away, he says, "And Beau? Thank you for helping our town. I appreciate it more than words can tell."

Beau will propose something to the party. "I say we pool 100 gold coins and have a statue built to Wick and Trev. They died as our friends and I think we should remember them. I also say we should finish what we started and hunt down Tavik and Vortigern. Also go take out that troll too. If we agree, Eisen we need to know everything about Vortigern. I know Tavik was from the nearby hamlet of Crimmor, I can go research him there"
Trevor nods his head fervorously. "I shall give you 200 gold coins to make it even better. My dear friend deserves that much at least."
I shall pitch in gold to and agree upon the order of the quest you have cited, but after that I must ask the party to join me in my search for my Sister. Finding my sister was what my original goal was before I joined your party.
Beau says "That is fair Hunter. I say we all but Trevor pay 25g gold. That gives us 300 gold coins to make a very nice statue. Hunter what can you tell us about your Sister and her distress?"
My older sister, Adrenai, is a master thief. She taught me a lot of what I know, but about 12 months ago, a band of adventurers called the Fire Hawks hired her to journey with them to Rappan Athuk, the Dungeon of Graves, far to the east. My sister was very excited about the expedition. But just before she left, Adrenai told me that the Fire Hawks intended to travel east along the Greywash River until they hit Zelkor's Ferry, at which point, they would first try to tackle the legendary dungeon's main entrance: the old graveyard. But she also told me that Azarthraine of Hallowfall, the elven wizard who led the Fire Hawks and hired her for the job, shared with her a secret. "There is a black fane several miles north of the main dungeon complex. It is said to be very dangerous, but it is a fast-track directly into the fearsome Bloodways, which was the final resting place of Duke Aerim, an ancient warrior of light who succumbed to the temptations of Orcus and now lies buried there in the endless tunnels filled with red mists. Azarthraine believed that they should try to pass through there, not to put the Duke's evil spirit to rest, but to find a shortcut down into a massive cavern where the tomb of Lord Navarre lies underwater in a lightless river. That is Azarthraine's true mission: to find the ancient paladin's resting place, for he was said to have been corrupted by the sorceress Deserach and eventually buried with treasures untold!" It has been months since I have heard from my sister. No letters. Nothing.
Beau pulls out a book and begins reading. " The tomb of a fallen paladin named Lord Navarre is said to be hidden within a river bed near an underground city of goblins. He was corrupted by the sensuous and beautiful sorceress, Deserach, in ages past. Humorous tale, I think. And a bit stereotypical. Why does it always have to be a paladin who gets seduced, and by so obvious a temptation? Can't a holy man keep it in his pants? "
Dwarinn says " Being a late comer to the party, I will agree to follow your suggestions as to our direction Beau.  I will gladly help Hunter find his sister, after that.  Will you all join me in my quest to find the Silver Cross of Yora?  I can't promise riches but I can promise adventure, and hard fought fights! Hahahaha, What say you all?

"Sure of course! All I ask that we take time off to study and do side things between it all. I do wish to take a trip north and i have read that their are bandits all over the dungeon of graves we can take out. I have also read about a Red Dragon as well that preys on people"
"I still need to complete Trev's holy quest and find the other half of the statue, but finding your sister sounds more important. You'll have me for it."
"Seams like we all have something"

Beau willl call everyone together after the two weeks are up "Ok we need to decide how we are handling magic items we found. They are valuable. So what say you all? I also spent most of my time finding us work and I found a lot. First I found Earlion's old love, she asked a task for us to do and then she will answer any questions we have. I feel we need conclusion about her, Earlion and the Elf Cleric here in town... [Story reward if we complete] Also I feel that Way Station has a secret with that poem, maybe some hidden treasure. I think she may know something about it. Also I notice something very scary, Tavik was at the keep. I assume to recruit the vampire and also men in black cloaks came to the ettins and purchased the captured people... I know the cult of the demon lord need sacrifices and believe they have a long arm of contacts to keep a constant flow of people to murder... Tavik is from Crimmor and there is a theive's guild there, which he works with. I think we need to go to Crimmor and crack that nut. I know Crimmor has a water monster in there lake eating all their fish and if we kill it,  [Story reward if we complete]  we can find treasure and also win the towns respect to deal with the slavers their. Which of course will lead to Tavik and possible the other thorn Eisen has.  [Story reward if we complete] Also there is an experienced Ranger about named Herl, he could be a big help with anything we do in this area. I want to find him. I also know where the troll's cave is.  [Story reward if we complete] " {Story rewards give us 10% of the XP we need for next level that is not divided between us all! so its great to do!]
"I suggest we do the one that is more urgent, and if we complete the task, move on to the one, and so forth."

I would like the rapier for 600 GP.

Once we all get back, Beau will suggest some things "Ok so I say we help the seers, she had some frog creatures take her staff. She said if we return it, she will give us the history of our Vampire. Then we take out the Troll. After that, I say we help out the nearby town of Crimmor, they have a lake monster. Then we pick something that one of use needs done. Sound good?"
Sounds good.
"Sounds good to me too." Somehow Eisen turned out to be a proper womanizer huh?  I am not complaining one-bit, just stating facts XD
"Agree."
All in
Hunters Magic items +1 Rapier, 4 healing potions
Beau looks a tad solemn. "I know this is a serious matter but the priest in town owes me a favor. Should I ask her to bring our fallen companion back?"
Yes Do it if you can
Yes, please raise me. Says the spirit of Hunter.
Hunter like:
(Excuse me, this is a the RP channel.. Not the:  kill players and laugh about it channel)
When I get a player-character-killing roll:
3rd of Coda, Noon It is a struggle to finish the day-long trek back to Fairhill. Your party is in bad shape. Two of you are severely hurt, while a third lay dead. The mule carries Hunter's body, thank the gods, keeping your company's pace fairly swift. As your party makes its way south through the hills and down the banks of the little river, you spot drifts of snow in huge, undisturbed piles, and the wind picks up. A billow of clouds seems to be growing on the horizon in the waning daylight. It is likely a storm. The dwarf suddenly perks up. "Lads, we ain't alone out here." As white as the snow is, you are able to spot in the distance behind you a war-party of colorful toad-like creatures tracking you through the wilderness. Most of them are green-skinned, but there are a few purple- and red-colored ones. All are led by a yellow-golden bipedal toad carrying a staff in hand. By your best guess, they are 20 minutes behind you up-river. In order to reach Fairhill, you will need to force-march there to make-up for lost time.
We going to eat Cajun style tonight lads, Lets get us some frog legs!
Trevor sighs. "If we have the funds, we can ask a priest in the city to revivehim."
You are exhausted, cold, and struggling to keep awake. As your party nears Fairhill in the middle of the night, the grung are getting close enough to fire their shortbows at long range. But even though the arrows fly right over your heads, the grung seem far enough away that a hit is unlikely. Still, in your current state, your party would be in trouble if the grung caught up with you. And they are very close. They would have surely caught you had you not owned a mule to carry Hunter's body. Just as the grung close within normal range of their shortbows, a light appears in front of you: standing on large rocky outcropping jutting out of the freezing river stands Shandril . She lifts up her two hands and closes her eyes, and muttering an extremely complex incantation, she opens her eyes as the sky rips open and a funnel of blazing fire strikes at the ground between the grung and your company! The pursuing creatures stumble backward at the sigh of such a mighty display of magic, and they seem to lose their courage briefly before the leader barks an order and they start to pursue again. But Shandril repeats the spell a second time, and this one strikes so close to the grung's front line that they turn and flee at a high rate of speed, leaping in huge arcs with their natural leg strength away from your party heading north from where they came.  Shandril seems weary after the encounter. She steps down from the rock and beckons you on. "We are close to the town walls. Come!" Once you are in Fairhill, it is 1:00 AM. Shandril orders you to carry Hunter's body into the Temple of Freya where it is laid before the altar of the goddess.  (Beau, are you spending your favor with her to raise Hunter from the dead? If so, your party needs to supply Shandril with the 500 gp spell component and she will cast the spell for you free of charge.)
(Beau does use a favor)
(Then subtract the 500 gp from the party fund or however you guys want to do it.) Shandril casts raise dead on Hunter. It takes him 4 days to recover from his condition and then another day to heal up his hit points and remove the one level of exhaustion affecting him. That means you all get at least one workweek (5 days) of downtime, except for Hunter, who is recovering. So, unless you want to take more time than that, the campaign resumes on the 9th of Coda.
Beau will thank Shandril for her help. He then checks Hunter for loose change. (how much money did you have Ron?)
1,200 GP and thanks for raising me.

Beau asks everyone if its OK to use Hunters money. If OK, he pays for the diamond with it and indeed gets Hunter raised. (We want more downtime or just the week?)
Fine by me
Fine by me and 1 week downtime seems fine for me unless someone wants to be doing something else
Fine by me

On the second night they are back, Beau will gather everyone and go to Baran. Beau says "Baran, we did it and we took his hand as he took yours!" Beau will brings out the Troll's Right Hand. "Be at peace sir, be at peace."
Baran sits down, as if a great weight has been taken off his aging shoulders. "That troll..." Tears nearly fill the man's eyes, but he fights them back and looks out across the town. "It's a good thing that he's dead, it is. I never had the courage to go back there after that night. He killed most of my men. Toyed with them, like they were his play-things. I can still hear their screams sometimes at night." He nods to you all. "You did a good thing, killing that troll." He says nothing else, and you leave him alone to process what has happened. (You all gain +800 XP for fulfilling this quest. I will update the XP totals.)
Beau gathers everyone. "Hunter I am glad your well. I have heard rumor's the frog men are attacking the town. We need to go deal with them and return the Staff. The Seer has promised to answer any questions we have once its returned. We also need to go loo their lair. After that Crimmor? I know they have a lake monster and there is always Tavik and Vortigern. Tavik is from Crimmor and I know still has ties there."

While at Gethrame's cave, will ask her about some things.  What does she know about the Waytower poem? She said she had information on Eisen's Amulet? The Lake Monster in Crimmor? What does she know about Tavik? What does she know about Herl? What does she know about Vortigern? I ask her if she knows about Balgruuf the Legendary Werebear? I ask her if she knows about Auris Veng who is buried in Rappan Athuk? Does she know anything about the Pure Waters of Elemental Chaos? Does she have any rituals I could learn? Does she know any Magic Items Formulas? Perhaps trade with her if she does. I bring out my book and read to her a few names and see if she knows anything about them                     Akbeth the High Priestess of Shak-Zatari                  T he Great Oracle of Rappan Athuk                 Lord Navarre and Deserach                   T he Great lich of Rappan  Athuk who wields Demonbane                 Aragnak the Dragon                 H igh Priest Zehn of the Demon Lord I then thank her for her time. (all of this is in game knowledge for everyone as I did it in front of everyone.)
