max amount of lines drawn to work with dynamic lighting?

So on  the dynamic lighting layer i trace all walls etc on my map, works fine so far. Now apparently my map walls etc are just a bit under the maximum? that the dynamic lighting can handle? If i draw more lines, the light will just go through those lines and won't be blocked. It a rather large map, is this just the max lines a may draw that are able to block light? or is there a way to have more lines.
Are you sure you’re drawing the new lines on the DL layer? Or are you using any scripts (such as DoorKnocker or UDLWalls)? I haven’t heard of a limit to how many DL lines you can have on a map.

Yep, I can draw more lines on the DL layer but at a certain point these lines stop working and do not block the light anymore. If you draw a line and let go of the mouse the line also gets a tone darker, however if i am at that limit where the light stops working the line does not get darker. These lines wont block any light. When I delete older lines these lines(the newest) get a tone darker and start to block light. Limit is cool i guess, maybe there is a way to draw lines better ;P? And i am not using scripts.
Something sounds wrong in your setup.  When a line is getting darker its taken the last vertex entry from the user.  It sounds like you have not finished with drawing that line.  Also it sounds like you are drawing on the wrong layer which is very easy to accidentally do.  I have personally seen poorly drawn DL layers with a million tiny triangles instead of lines so there is no max entities for DL, just whatever their site can handle before crashing the session.

Personally, I think it’s something with R20. One of my smaller maps was all set up with dynamic lighting…I set it up under LDL and it worked perfectly. Then Friday when I played, the players were able to see through the lines. It was kind of frustrating…

Picture Upper left object layer, light gets only blocked in right lower corner. Picture Upper right DL layer, as you can see there are 3 more red DL lines that are ignored...and only gets blocked at the yellow lines Picture Lower left light  gets blocked by the red lines as it should be. But only because i removed some older lines (in this case yellow) as see in the lower right picture.

Also when i am at or near that ' limit ' (if any) and I draw a ie circle on the DL layer and try test it with a light: The line stop working half way through and creates an artificial line (bottom of the pictures, straight diagonal line) this line extents throughout the whole map.
