Game Summary
for Sunday Evening (08/01/2021): Opening Scene: It is now 59
days into the adventure (since setting off in the Belle Venture), and It is
now: 2:30 am on September 30th (Day 56 on the Isle of Dread). As the
adventurers are sound asleep, inside the mongrelmen compound, a raid ordered by
the Yuan-Ti’s commences . They have crocodiles from the swampy lake around the
Forbidden City , invade in order to find the adventurers. Initiative
Rolls are made and Combat Round #01 begins: Thirty
Crocodiles being the assault moving towards the Mongrelmen compound from the
east. Combat Round
#02: The Crocodiles
continue to move and the first of many traps is sprung as a snare trap snatched
up Crocodile #06! The mongrelmen
Guards sound an alarm throughout the compound, waking the adventurers and they
get up to move outside find the invaders and engage them! Combat Round
#03: The Crocodiles
are on the move as another one #05 is also snared ! Crocodile #04,
falls into a spiked pit trap, killing him! Combat Round
#04: The Crocodiles
continue to move as do the adventurers! Combat Round
#05: The damage they
took here was confusing me, but they have 15 total hit points and I went by the
line telling you the creature was defeated. Crocodile #04,
gets caught in a fire trap and makes the save vs breath weapon for 8 have
damage! Crocodile #03,
gets caught in a fire trap and takes 7 damage! Crocodile #09,
gets caught in a fire trap and takes 6 damage! Crocodile #01,
gets caught in a fire trap and takes 15 damage, defeating him! Crocodile #09,
gets caught in a fire trap and takes 15 damage, defeating him! Crocodile #07,
gets caught in a fire trap and takes 15 damage, defeating him! Crocodile #10,
gets caught in a fire trap and takes 15 damage, defeating him! Combat Round
#06: Ahlias the
Yaun-Ti Abomination, strikes Crocodile #03 for 1 damage with the scimitar! Crocodile #02,
tries to jump up and bite Ahlias but fumbles and slips! Xilicien, gets
in range of Crocodile #12 to fire off 4 Magic Missiles, dealing 17 force
damage, defeating Crocodile #12! Ehsha the
Yaun-Ti Abomination, hits Crocodile #14 with the scimitar for 7 damage! Crocodile #17,
bites Ehsha for 3 damage! Combat Round
#07: Ahlias, slashed
Crocodile #03 with the scimitar for 8 damage, defeating him! Crocodile #15,
falls into a bunji trap, dealing 9 damage! Xilicien, fires
4 Magic Missiles at Crocodile #16, dealing 18 force damage! Ehsha, slashed
Crocodile #14 for 6 damage with the scimitar! Combat Round
#08: Ahlias, slashed
Crocodile #02 for 8 damage, defeating him! Xilicien, casts
Burning Hands upon Crocodile #15, dealing 18 fire damage, defeating it! Ehsha, slashed
Crocodile #13 with a critical hit roll of 20 for 3 damage resulting in right
front leg getting off! Crocodile #13,
springs a trap, dealing 11 damage! Combat Round
#09: Mongrelman
Guard #01, hits Crocodile #20 with a blow gun dart dealing 2 and it makes a
save vs paralyzation and is not paralyzed! Xilicien,
strikes Crocodile #11 with the magical Staff of Striking dealing 10 damage! Ehsha, strikes
