BUG: Invisible Players

This has happened to me a few times now... A player will disappear from the game menu, he can still see everything but I can't see that he's in the game still.
Yes, this bug has been around for months. It's a little irritating but doesn't actually break the game. I heard (not tested it myself) that changing your "active character" the drop-box below the chat window, to one of your tokens instead of your normal display name, shows the name again afterwards.

Xan, could you go to http://supportdetails.com/ and give us the details (except IP address). Thanks - Gauss
Sure, running Win 8, 1920x1080 (dual screen though both are same res), Chrome 25.0.1364.172, Browser size: 1920 x 971, JS Enabled, Flash V. 11.6.602, Cookies Enabled. I honestly haven't noticed any common factors as to when it happens... but again I'm only one side of the equation. It's happened to three players that I know of. (could be more... the nature of the beast being what it is). But I know a couple of times where it has been bidirectional at least. Not sure if it always is though.

I have filed a bug report. One question: are the people that vanish using Chrome or Firefox? Could you please find out? - Gauss
I have had it happen to me using Firefox and Chrome (from the DM's perspective) and I know the players I have had this happen to also use both.

Thanks Denathil. BTW, I believe that those people who go invisible should reappear if they refresh. You might want to have them try that. - Gauss
Oh, silly me. I can confirm that tends to fix it, though is a bother sometimes when they are using the google hangout as their only game window (silly players)
Saw one, they were using Win 7 and chrome.
Yeah it appears to happen most regularly when I'm playing with people using Win 7 and Chrome.
I have a player with this problem as well, he has tried to refresh, switched from FF to Chrome. He can just hear and see me but I cannot hear or see him not even his character name.
I am the GM of my campaign and when we tested out the connections for the first time, I had the same problem. My player, (running Win-7 and Chrome) could see and hear me as well as his own pop-in window, but I (running Win-7 and Chrome) could not see him.. only my own pop-in window. Is there an official fix yet?

Simon, when bugs are fixed I (or one of the Devs) post a response in the relevant thread(s) to announce that it has been fixed. :) To confirm, when you say you could not see or hear your player were you using tokbox? Was the avatar/tokbox window missing, was it on avatar, or was it on tokbox? - Gauss
Yes we were using TokBox... He was in the game, could write in chat and roll but his "nameplate" was not there and he couldnt be heard (voice). By "nameplate" I mean the D20 avatar+name, the one that is there when I am alone editing my campaign.

Christopher, thanks. That bug has seemed to be reported a lot more lately. In any case, a bug report has been made. :) - Gauss
This seems to happen more frequently with google hangouts. They are in the Roll20 app, can see the chat, can make dice rolls and do everything you're supposed to be able to do, but their nameplate at the bottom and their chosen color is missing.

This should be fixed now, please let us know if it occurs again. - Gauss

If so, what? ps: using Firefox

David, could you provide a screenshot? - Gauss
It seems to happen when the user has multiple instances of the game window open and they exit out of one of them while using chrome or firefox.
Well it randomly is fixed again. We didnt change anything in our setting or browser. So no clue!
