[5e][online][sat][11am to 230pm Est-USofA/GMT-5][weekly] Captain seeking 5 to 6 landlubbers for Ghosts of Saltmarsh Pirate/Nautical Themed Dnd Adventure set in CR Exandria! LGBTQ+friendly table.

Avast ye! If ye seek adventure upon the high seas of Exandria ye have found yer port. I am a Newbie DM seeking a long-term table of misfits/miscreants and general scalawags to roll math rocks with on a weekly basis over discord and roll20. I would like to play through Ghosts of Saltmarsh and then have the same group tackle Wild Beyond the Witchlight after GoS (and more beyond). So I am hoping to get a long term table together. A Bit About Me: I am a newbie DM (about 3yrs, mostly one shots). I think my DM style would best be described as Narrative Focused; I enjoy a table that prioritizes creating a cohesive story and makes efforts to make the meta narrative "flow" towards a shared goal. Please include the phrase: Aye aye captn somewhere in your response so I know you read everything and can follow directions. I enjoy a good balance between light and dramatic or heavy moments and hope to get a group that also strives for such a balance. Campaign Influences: Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl, One Piece, H. P. Lovecraft, Cowboy Bebop, Conan, Hellboy/B.P.R.D. Module Warnings: Human Trafficking, Dark Magical Rituals, Fantasy Violence (probably, that's more on y'all), General DnD shite. Redlines: There will be no kind SA allowed. No E-Rp; Romance is discouraged at the table but handled appropriately for story purposes the Dm will allow and use fade to blacks if obvious situations require. To apply comment, please dont dm me, to this post with: A Name (doesnt have to be your real one): Pronoun: Your age: Your 5e/DND Exp: Red lines (things/topics you do not want in your games): What kind of PCs do you like/want to play: What kind of Game/Campaign do you enjoy/expect or hope for?: Discord username: Elevator Pitch: Saltmarsh was once this sleepy backwater fishing town but with the rise of the once fallen land of Dranconia to its north Saltmarsh now finds itself the del facto port of this nation of Dragonborns. The return to relevance has renewed The Dwendalian Empire's and Krynn Dynasty's interest in securing trade and political favors with Draconia. Saltmarsh now finds itself on the verge of becoming this new thriving port with ships from the world over and all types sailing the same bay waters and dicing in taverns dry or dreary. The same old planks line the piers that once fisher folk only stepped now pirates and slavers walk the same boards as privates and politicians of the highest esteem. Some relish the changes, others yearn for a return to a quieter time. None know what secrets or riches Saltmarsh holds or hides for you, the only thing for certain in this town is: change is on the winds.

Ahoy! I spied yer post a'floatin' on the rollin' seas o'roll20, and shiver me timbers if I don't think this sounds like a wonderful campaign. Here's me application matey:  Me Name     Foot, MageFoot Me Pronouns     He/Him Me Age     Mid-early twenties Me 5e/DND Exp:     2 years and 2 campaigns, also some improv  Red lines (things/topics you do not want in your games):     The red lines you listed reflect mine. If anything comes up in-game, I'll bring it up. What kind of PCs do you like/want to play?     In the past, I've played bards and warlocks, which I really enjoyed and wouldn't mind playing again. I'd also love to try playing a swashbuckling rogue or a seafaring barbarian. Honestly, I'm up for most classes, so if you let me know what works for your world, I'll probably say aye aye captn. What kind of Game/Campaign do you enjoy/expect or hope for?      Adventure on the high seas with a good crew. Treasure is out there, let's go find it Me Discord username:     MageFoot#5456
A Name: Theo Pronoun: they/xe Your age: 26 Your 5e/DND Exp: literally one session before scheduling conflicts killed my last party on sight, but I've been following a handful of dnd liveplay shows for a while, and spent the summer digging into the 5e rules in a big way/creating some characters just to mess around with the mechanics and story telling potential. I'm also a longtime fanfic writer, so well acquainted with that sort of part of the game. Red lines (things/topics you do not want in your games): the ones you've mentioned sound about right to me. other than that, it's an aye aye captn from me. What kind of PCs do you like/want to play : haven't played enough to know for sure. for now, i'm big on playing characters with weaknesses, since they feel in line with my potential knowledge of the game: characters with high intelligence but low wisdom, characters with high physical stats but low mental ones, or just characters who've grown up in a small world and are just now coming out to explore and learn what the real world is like. whatever sort of weakness I can turn into an interesting character trait and have play out in the game world, i'm into it. What kind of Game/Campaign do you enjoy/expect or hope for? : a fun one? or a spooky one, honestly. I'm generally open and so far this seems cool. Discord username : worn-out-theoclymenus#4792
