Hello everyone, I'm currently looking for any group that plays the World of Darkness books; Mage: The Ascension or Werewolf: The Apocalypse. I have often ran a VTM setting though that was a mixture of voice and text driven but after taking a much needed break I am trying to find a group that actively plays mage or werewolf. I must admit I have limited understanding of MTA but I have the basic ideas down and am able to pick things up quickly through play. I am open to both text and voice roleplay. World of Darkness experience: • Vampire: The Masquerade, (20A but also Victorian). [ST and Player] • Hunter: The Reckoning. [Player] • Ghoul: Fatal Addiction. [ST] My Mage: The Ascension character concepts to show I’m not empty handed. • Cult of Ecstasy - (Klubwerks) The idea behind this cultist is playing an electronic musician / DJ with a focus on the mind sphere. Working with visuals in hypnotic imagery. She is here to try and unite people under music but also kick ass of those who threaten reality. • Order of Hermes - (House Flambeau or others) A concept I would really like to play is an apprentice of the Order of Hermes working her way up in the circles of the order as normal. I'm open to changing the house around to better fit a setting or even match up with another player. • Orphan - (Reality photoshopper) This character could never fully fit into the VAs, at least in my eyes. They made their own thoughts about how to do magick and that's abusing the idea of virtual reality. Glasses / headset and all. Need a gun? Spawn a gun. My Werewolf: The Apocalypse character concepts to show I’m not empty handed. • Glass Walker (Homid - Ahroun) I have a feeling this concept will not fit well in most games, but Glass Walkers do put a focus on being the money makers for a pack so maybe! An influencer that focuses on advocating going green and talking down about brands that abuse the Earth. • Children of Gaia (Metis - Philodox)
With the deformity of albinism, this character concept is based around wanting to find a way to cleanse Black Spiral Dancers. While giving others a chance to stand down is the first option, she has a focus on trying to disable weapon arms in combat if fighting others with guns. If you have made it this far, thank you for hearing me out. I know the drawback can be folks not knowing what they're doing, I hope with the experience in three of the other systems can help at least show that I understand how the dice mostly work.
