[homebrew] [LFP] scifi colony campaign

looking for players for a homebrew scifi game where you’ll be playing the members of a colony crew sent into unknown space. On the orders of terra, you are among a hundred people chosen to board a colony ship and colonize a planet amid a cluster of stars named the alpha sacral cluster. With a colony ship at the ready and only the preliminary scans of the cluster to start off with, you are among the people who must spread humanity to these stars, and deal with any encountered xenos as you see fit. You have been given free reign to forge your own minor star system or die trying. Players are free to make any character that's a baseline human of some type, and can choose at the start one thing to have been brought along in the colony supplies. The planets and any xenos possibly encountered will be randomly rolled for. This will be a fun game for anyone who likes space themed campaigns or rogue trader. Play would be by text on discord and time would be on the weekend. PM me if youd like to join.
This did catch my mind, reminding me of those old 4x games like Space Empires except more character focused. What dice system are you using, and is this based off of any existing system? I know you use the term Xenos, which calls to Warhammer 40K. Is there a specific flavor your world has, and can we expect to be friendly to aliens encountered?
