Hello Everybody! Let me introduce myself firstly, my name is BroadBack and I've been roleplaying for over 10 years. Mainly 5e. I frequently DM for my friends, but now I'm looking to DM for a group of strangers. Because I love it! Time/Date: Looking to start around 7pm GMT, on a day that best suits the group, running for 3-4 hours a time ideally. I would like the campaign to begin in the next 2 weeks. Campaign Setting: My campaign is set in Wildemount, and is set to be a Sand Box style adventure where you, the players decide where to go and what to do, with some guidance if it's required. I have a beginning adventure in mind, but I would like to divulge more about this later to keep people from reading the adventure before it begins. I'd like you to all discover and explore together naturally (if possible). Homebrew Stuff (Character discovery): I recently came across a campaign idea whereby the player characters begin with a blank character sheet and they fill it in as they discover things about themselves. I've taken this idea and modified it so that players will begin with their personality traits, ideals, bond and flaws only. This represents the sense of right and wrong we all have. You will need to work as a team to discover the rest; name, race, skill proficiencies, class abilities. Are you acrobatic? Do you build rapport with strangers easily? Can you shoot the wings off an insect from 150 feet? It's time to discover who you are. If you really want to be particular class e.g. Wizard, awesome! Perhaps you have an abundance of arcane knowledge locked away and you slowly begin to remember the spells you learnt. If you don't mind what class you are, so long as you're the guy at the front of the party then this character creation method could be really fun. Maybe you discover you have anger management problems as soon as a fight begins, and at this moment you realise you are a barbarian. Further details will also be on Discord . We will discuss character creation and group composition during Session 0 or beforehand on Discord. If (like me) you welcome more interesting ways to make a character, then I think this will be a lot of fun. This will only affect the first 1 maybe 2 levels of your characters life as you will likely learn everything before you're level 2 and after this you will be able to take them in any direction you like. Payment: Once we have enough players we will run a session 0 where we can discuss characters, the campaign and anything else that we'd like to talk about. After this payment will be expected 48hours before session 1. I will be charging £7.50 per player, per session and seeking 4-6 players.
