Hello all! We are a group of 5 guys (4 players and a DM), mid twenties, looking for a 5th player to round out the party. The party so far is comprised of a Samurai, a Warrior, a Machinist, and a Black mage, all using the FF14 dnd5e fan made rulebook which can be found here: https://www.gmbinder.com/share/-LsDqsNbupzeLhkTIcPv We are all writers or literature enthusiasts to a degree, and we all tend to really lean into the more dramatic aspects of DnD. You could almost go so far as think of us as theatre nerds who throw dice. If you like FF14, and appreciate strong narratives, and aren’t afraid to embrace drama and get into character, this could be the game for you! We typically play on Thursday evenings around 7pm CST. But the day has the option to be negotiable to most weekday nights. The time unfortunately isn’t as easy for us to move around due to prior commitments, work, etc. The world crafted by our DM is a narrative-driven dark fantasy, with a lot of FF14 styled elements. Hence we are using the FF14 Fan-made classes for DnD 5e, and replacing/banning certain PHB caster classes due to the world lore and feel/style of the game. Namely, the casting classes are being shaken up. Clerics, Sorcerers, and warlocks are being replaced by the Black and White Mage classes and other classes from the FF14 5e rulebook. Also there are some restrictions on character race for setting reasons, and adds some new homebrew races. If this game intrigues you, please comment below with the following: 1. Personal introduction 2. Level of experience with DnD 5e (and FF14, if any) 3. Favorite aspect of DnD or ttrpgs in general 4. High level Character concept THANKS for you consideration! We look forward to hearing from you!
