Closed! A DM has been located for this game. Thank you to everyone who messaged me!
Hello there! I’ve got three players (myself included) who are looking for a DM to pick up a game where our last DM had to stop for us. We were running through Lost Mines with the intent to transition into Storm King's Thunder . We were looking to play on Wednesdays at 9CST PM for approximately 3-4 hours . Payment is not a problem if you can deliver on everything we’re looking to find. We'd like to (re)start the game sometime in the new year. What are we bringing to the table? We’re a trio of friends who have been playing DND games together for about three years. We consider ourselves dedicated and enthusiastic players who want to tell a story with you, and not just be along for the ride. We’ve already built characters that are made to fit into the Sword Coast of Faerûn — and we do not want to switch to another setting or world. There is room for discussion on the modules being played, and since we are not very far into the story? We would be happy to restart the game from the beginning to let you tell it how you’d prefer. Side Notes: We are more than willing to pick up a fourth player, but really don’t want more than five at max for the session. You would be responsible for finding additional players to fill in those seats. We only request that additional players be +18 and are as excited as we are for a collaborative storytelling experience. What do we want? A roleplay heavy campaign with a DM who isn’t afraid of character stories and can weave their backgrounds into the world. A setting where our decisions and choices impact the world-- and have consequences or benefits towards us. Our group doesn't want to feel restricted. Though we’d like to run a module, we want the freedom of being able to move within a sandbox and want a DM that is willing to go off the rails if the character development leads us that way. Be prepared to homebrew elements and be willing to allow us to explore beyond the basic content of what the module has written. We don’t want the basic module experience, we want you to take that script and then we make it our own. We want to be able to source material from all official books, the Unearthed Arcana, and be allowed to pitch ideas for homebrew features for our characters that are reasonable in terms of restriction and balance. Other things, like a modified standard array/point buy, starting with a common magic or a level one feat would be very nice, but we’re pretty flexible. Interested in this arrangement? Please toss me a private message with your discord, and some basic information on who you are, and what your play style is like. Please don't be discourage if we don't get back to you, or decide you're not the perfect fit for us. We will be considering all of our options!
