The fact that it doesn't modify everything collectively is like wearing pants on your head, seriously stupid. It's a global setting so I don't have to delete every single character NPC and re-make them simply because the developers either don't know how or don't care. If the answer is then to copy the entire campaign so that everything starts with the new defaults...that is still a VERY bad answer and there could be an "apply settings" button that essentially copies and pastes everything with the new global setting rather than having to re-invite everyone and re-assign compendium slots. It has become apparent that roll20 is becoming clunkier as it ages and makes me feel I am working with MS dos and working for roll20....when I am paying THEM. I have spent a good amount of money on digital books to beef up my charactermancer to make it easier for my new players, but I'd hate for that to be a waste of money if I have to repurchase the material on another platform to do the same thing. Likely how they keep their players as other virtual tabletops have launched ahead of roll20 in terms of quality, UI, and speed. If anything my monthly subscription should be, roll20 - 5th Ed d&d and give access to ALL CONTENT FOR D&D. As it is a subscription service, ALL content is what should be included in the subscription. Subscription plus buying the books was fine when roll20 was the best option...I am seriously rethinking my use, especially since I have yet to see any roll20 dev respond in this forum...don't they have paid employees monitoring forums to help people out? If they prove to me they don't care about their own business why should I be giving them money? Wow, this got me riled up, I despise laziness almost as much as incompetence...
