Twilight 2000 Campaign - 2.2 rules - Gauging interest

Hi, I'm UK based and looking into interest for a Twilight 2000 campaign using a the 2.2 rules (slightly modified to make combat a little more lethal, so that real-life situations such as being pinned by enemy fire can happen in-game). I'm proposing playing the Vistula trilogy, and am looking initially at a weekly session, probably during the weekend. Please reply if you are interested. Also let me know if you you are already running something similar and are looking for additional players. Cheers,  Jim
Hi Jim. I have a modified 2.2 game we're playing every other Saturday at 15:30 Central US time zone that might be of interest. If it is and the time slot works, we could discuss particulars.
Hi Judd Thanks for replying! I'm UK based, and at the moment Sundays are the best for me. Would be interested in hearing more about your campaign, though! Cheers,  Jim
the campaign is based on 2.2 Polish sandbox, but with modified and simplified rules to speed gameplay. I'm not following any source material, but I am borrowing from it whenever that seems prudent. The PCs are currently a week in from the collapse of the 5th, relatively resource poor, and trying to formulate a plan. The game has been intermittent through the Holidays, but I'd like to get into a regular groove. We play on Saturdays at 15:30 Central US. It's been fortnightly, but it really depends on everyones' RLs. We'd love another player if you're into it and available.
Hi Judd, 15:30 CST is 21:30 UK time. Not terrible but getting late.  ;-) How long are the sessions and how do you get together (Skype, Discord etc)? Cheers,  Jim
We may be able to push it back a little. I've forgotten how we decided on this time. Typically, 3 hours, using Discord for voice.
Hi Judd Sorry for going dark. Thanks for the offer to push the time back somewhat. It's still a little late and to be honest I don't want to inconvenience you or your players any. I'll politely decline for now - but big thanks for the offer, and I'll let you know if the roleplaying itch forces me to reconsider!  ;-) Cheers,  Jim
