If this is definitely not the popout issue (which is long ongoing with no quick resolution in sight), the only recourse is to open a new Help Center Request . It sounds like you have already done this? In which case, you received a notification that the issue was solved or closed? Solved is one thing, it should be fixed or it is broken for another reason. Closed could just mean "we know this is broken but we have no fix at the moment." When you file an issue, it is handled by one team who basically logs it to the appropriate dev team. If there's no fix, this is (unfortunately) not always communicated all the way back to the reporter. In any case, only Chrome and Firefox issues are addressed and supported by Roll20. It looks like there was a typo in your sentence ("fur not FF") so I'm not sure whether FF is working for you or not. If it works, that is probably your best recourse. Finally, if the issue is only affecting popped out windows, a possible workaround is to focus on the popped out window and Reload, instead of Closing. For Chrome at least, this will close the popout and allow the window to reopen in the same session.
