Hey everyone! I've played D&D on and off for about 6 or 7 years, the main problem always being able to find a consistent group of friends to play with. So I thought I would try once again to get a regular group together. I am pretty new when it comes to being a GM, and also still learning some of the tricks to Roll20 but I am pretty confident in my ability to run a game. New and veteran players are welcome and the only requirement being that you are a friendly person who can commit to a group. So if this sounds like something you would be interested in joining, read some of the details below and let me know. A soon as we have 5 - 6 players, we will have session 0 to make introductions and run a short little adventure. ABOUT THE GAME Playing mostly 5e D&D, but if the group has some other games systems they would like to play or try, I am all for it! Long Term D&D group, meeting weekly or bi-weekly depending on everyone's scheduled and preferences. Date and Time to be discussed BUT I'm leaning towards a Friday or Saturday night game. I am on EST time (USA). I have a paid ROLL20 subscription so it is not a requirement that all players have a paid account. I really enjoy some of the official D&D adventure modules, so be prepared to run several of those campaigns. Most games that I play/run tend to be a little more on the adventure/puzzle side with enough combat encounters to make it interesting and challenging. But I don't like to run games that seem to have a deadly encounter every few feet you move, making the entire session combat. As a group, your feedback will help me tailor games to the groups taste. Our first session will be mostly introductions and character creation. If time permits, we will run a quick introduction "one-shot" game to bring our band of adventurers together. ABOUT YOU New and experienced players are welcome. As long as you have basic computer skills, you can pick things up pretty quickly as we play. Players need to be friendly and fairly easy going. Hate speech of any kind, towards anyone is not tolerated. Players should be able to commit to the group. Obviously life happens and you may need to miss a session or we may need to skip a session or so. But players who continuously miss sessions may be replaced if the group decides to. In the end, the group as a whole makes the decisions. ABOUT ME I'm 35 and live on the south-east coast of USA. I have only GM one or two quick games so this will be my first time as the actual GM. I love RPG's of any kind, whether they be tabletop, console or PC. I even enjoy the "Choose Your Own Adventure" novels. I am very friendly and easy going, sometimes to a fault.
