[Help] Updating another users script to updated dynamic lighting instead of legacy

I'm trying to update Scott C.'s  ShareVision script from the legacy dynamic lighting to updated dynamic lighting, the main issue is though, I've only slightly used Java script and i have never used it to make API Scripts, so i really don't know what i'm doing. this is the code for the script , and I'm not necessarily looking for someone to update it for me, just wanting to get a bit of a walkthrough as I would like to start scripting myself a bit.

It's very likely the updates will be unsatisfactory. Right now there is a bug with UDL and the API which prevents any changes to the token from taking effect until a human manually edits the token and saves it. 

I thought that bug only affected certain settings like viewing angle.
