Pathfinder this Sunday; longterm potential

Hello, I'm going to be running a session on Pathfinder this Sunday Afternoon (August 10th, time will be around 3PM PST) and am looking for one, maybe two players to join. Story will be taking place in a world I've written up and with two long campaigns worth of lore. It will be taking place in a highly lawful society with a criminal and colonial history. Characters will start at level 1 with a 20 point buy, no stats (before racial modifiers) below 7, or above 18. I'm going to remain open-minded about players in terms of experience and see who is interested before making any decisions. I am an experienced writer, player, and GM trying to come back after a break from table top games and love to accommodate my players in terms of story, challenges. Ideally, we will be able to make this a long-term thing, but we'll just have to see how things go. Feel free to ask any questions and thanks for reading.

I'm interested in this, I have played a lot of pathfinder and it's my favorite setting / rule set. 3pm PST might be tight for me this week because im traveling back from california either saturday or early sunday but I could certainly make other weeks. I like higher levels more, simply because most of the campaigns I play in end before we get any where good with the characters but I'm still interested to see this happen.
Sounds interesting, the only question I have is, would you approve mixing in class levels from Dreamscarred Press's Path of War? Kind of a thing for me because once I got the taste, I just can't do martial without at least one level.
Thank you both for showing interest, I'm glad to see the community here is so active. Samuel, your scheduling issue is fine-- just keep me updated. In regard to higher levels, I prefer to play games no higher than level 12ish, but I've made sure from the grungy early levels to the high fantasy of mid levels, that I pace the story so there is a lot of story progression. Askren, I'm not familiar with Dreamscarred materials, but depending on what you'd like to do, I can give some leeway. I've had MAJOR problems with munchkins and third party materials in previous games (like 4th level characters casting level 6 spells). I've taken a moment to look over what is in the book, so it would depend on what and how much from this we're borrowing. In terms of characters, I like to be really intimate with how characters and NPC's develop together. Feel free to drop me your Skype name in PM if you'd like to discuss details. It's my goal to make sure we all find what we're looking for.

I'm on the newer side of things, but I understand the system on roll20 and would be interested in a Sunday session. I know The Pathfinder system as well and would love to join. I'll be keeping an eye on this post and on my PM. Love to hear back from you if you'd like another player. ^ ^
Medieval, I'd be happy to discuss details in PM if you'd like. I haven't made any confirmations just yet, so please feel free to drop me a PM. If you'd like to discuss details, you can drop me a skype name and I'll add you there.
I don't generally play a whole lot of Pathfinder (I GM it, however), but I might be up for this. If you're open to the Path of War content, I've had a a Spirit-Hunting Stalker concept that I've tossed around for awhile. The content itself isn't unbalancing - it matches fairly well with what one might expect of a Ninja of the same level, with slightly different options available to them (in the form of standard action attacks, rather than full-attack options). The biggest thing I find that both players and GMs are off-put by when it comes to PoW concepts is how much more mobile and action-efficient said characters are compared to their full-attacking martial cousins. I'll toss you a message with my skype information though.

I've been rather anxious to give Pathfinder a shot after reading the rules and changes from 3.5e. As a bit of a background, I am a 3.5e veteran who is down to zero active games and is anxious to get back into one. I prefer RP to combat and usually put a lot of effort into crafting a solid backstory and creating a unique and memorable character. I'm generally the sort of person who RPs their stats as well and avoids metagaming strongly. I would very much like to play a Chaotic-Neutral to Good leaning Elan Psion who makes a living working in the shadows smuggling items of value. While he is a bit of a rule-breaker and some might see him as a criminal, he is generally good-hearted when it comes down to it; willing to sacrifice to help others in need. Given the background for your world it actually seems like the concept would be rather interesting to play out within your setting. And fear not, I have no plans for playing a chaotic stupid character. :P I look forward to hearing back from you.
Zero, Thanks for responding. I'd like to invite you to talk about what you could bring to the game. Toss me your skype name in PM and we can talk details there. Thanks
