DND5e Character picks up a weapon

Hello everyone, I am GM to a fresh group and we are all new. We set up a new adventure and I bought one month of the 10$ pro version. It's going good so far and we have fun. One of the players picked up a standard short bow from a fallen enemy and I have absolutely tried everything to add it to the character sheet but failed miserably. How to do this and make it available in the Character Sheet selected weapons?

In-game, go to the Compendium tab (uses the circled "i" icon), and type shortbow (or short bow?) in the search field. You will see a list with short bow in it. With his character sheet open, drag the short bow onto the sheet, it will be added to the character's inventory and the attack section will populate with the attack. This may not work if you are using a less common 5e sheet. The official one should work fine. Also, the player can do this for themselves as well.
