[LFG] [5e or homebrew] [EST] Somewhat experienced player looking for long term game

Hello all, I'm Mairwynn and I'm looking to join a long term campaign. Located in EST so nothing crazy late but I can do most nights and weekends. I'd like to join something new, but I'm also open to joining something in progress. I've played online and IRL  but have only logged maybe 20-30 hours of gameplay, so not the most experienced person, but not a total newbie. I love playing tanks and melee fighters, and would prefer a game that's about half roleplay and half combat. I'm 100% LGBT friendly as well and over 21, so mature games are also cool! Hello Mairwynn. I am trying to set up a game of Root by Mahpie Games. It is listed as a one-shot, but that is to gauge player interest and if players are interested then the intro story will lead into a campaign. Root is a low-fantasy rpg about animal characters in a wartorn forest. The players are mercenaries choosing who they want to fight for and why. The mechanics are d6 based and the game is about 1/3 combat / 2/3 roleplaying.
