Looking for Teacher

need help coding a custom sheet, I want to learn how to make shit function and look pretty. currently using HTML, I know there are some videos, but the ones I can find only show function, and making a long single list of text on a blank baground isn't all that nice to look at, or efficient

Unfortunately, I can't commit to teaching directly, but there are several resources here, including: My weekly to bi weekly blog series, A Sheet Author's Journey . This is a walkthrough of building a sheet from scratch, starting with design and project setup. GiGs, who is another excellent coder, also just started a character sheet coding focused blog The wiki is great for seeing how specific aspects of the sheet environment work. And, finally, there's the forums and r/roll20 discord server, which are both excellent places to ask questions. Hope that helps!

Thanks for the shout out, Scott. At present there aren't good introductory guides for someone new to webdesign making their first character sheet. My goal with the new blog is to change that, but it'll take a while. In the meantime, all the things Scott mentioned are worth checking out. I am partial to the forums. If you have specific focused questions, we can help you get that sheet working - just ask one question at a time, one after another, and you'll get there.
