Are you ready to begin your own Pokemon adventure? POKEMON ACCELERATED is a narrative focused paid campaign that will be using a somewhat modified version of the Fate Accelerated system. Due to the system’s simple and easy to pick up rules this game is welcoming to players both new and familiar with the base system (which is free to download online legally). As already mentioned, this game will focus on creating a narrative filled adventure for the players as they explore the world of Pokemon. This narrative may take a simpler path of being just about making friends with Pokemon, stopping bad guys and finding your destiny or perhaps something on a far grander, maybe even having world changing consequences. Players will get to decide together during Session 0 the tone of the story and work with the Gamemaster to create something everyone will enjoy. Bear in mind that this game will be attempting an experience somewhere between the anime or the manga rather than the games.
You’ll be exploring a completely new region called THEOS! The region is made up of two islands that legends say were one whole before a mysterious Pokemon split the land in two many centuries ago. Filled with both new and familiar Pokemon alike, Theos is filled with countless adventures to be had and mysteries to uncover.
Greetings, I’m your potential Gamemaster and so it seems only fair to know a little bit about myself and the kind of games I run. I’ve been playing TTRPG’s for 7+ years and have run several campaigns in a variety of systems with my most recent one being a Star Wars game that I am currently running. I n terms of being a GM I consider myself a narrative first kind of individual. Rules can be a wonderful tool in any system but I’m always willing to bend a rule to give a player the chance to do something potentially amazing if it makes sense. The rule of cool is always my golden rule.
