You need to undo the UI change for oneway Dynamic lighting like right now.

You have made doorknocker api break with this new change to the UI.  We cannot setup doors, windows, or anything really.  We also can't set walls properly.  Come on guys, why do you drop this shit on the live production server on a fucking friday night?!?!?  Do you use your own platform?  Immediate identification of this bug the second I logged in to prep.  Please is there anyone with a stylus fix?  this is going to be a giant headache in all my sessions.

Stylus won't change it. Totally different technology. What is keeping you from setting up doors or walls? What specifically is not working (besides windows, which has been discussed many times in other threads).

The inability to select the preset colors, I have to constantly manually enter the 3 color codes to change line colors.  It is single handedly ruining prep in dotmm.

That's the part I would like reverted. I have expressed that in-forum and through other channels. Quick workaround: set one line of each desired color. When you want to switch, select that line and then deselect. The tool should remember your color choice. It sounds very cumbersome, but it's the pretty much the same number of clicks as using the color picker, just not conveniently located in the same place.

I believe you can also change hour player color to set the default drawing color, which should make most things petty fast to lay out. I can throw a quick script together that will set the line color automatically to a given color, and also allow setting to specific colors with a macro, if that would help.

I actually figured out a method.  I copied a singular line of the door, window, secret door locked door, and wall to each page and whenever I need my lines to be those colors I just select those first.  Annoying workaround for now, but seriously what about the new setup is good for anyone?  Having to constantly toggle tools just to work around a bad UI change.   This however does NOT fix the instances where I want to change a colored line to another color like when prepping a multi use map I pull in from my map session and changing doors from unlocked to locked.  THAT is precisely the situation that is impossible to figure out how to solve without rewriting the lines.  It makes no sense to remove the suggested colors panel.

You should add your voice to the DL feedback thread and make your case there. It will be seen there (no guarantee it will be here), and I'd appreciate the backup on this. It's a less useful interface. It looks more useful, because it looks like your choices have been increased by a continuous tone map and the ability to switch color space definitions, but in actuality, you have lost functionality. Besides presets, there is no way to non-programatically (without jumping through a lot of hoops to indicate transparency with an rgb a  value. Not that that would be helpful on the DL layer, but I'd hate for the new color picker to spread.
