D&D Adventure League Season 9 Avernus Rising This a drop-in, ongoing series of games every other Saturday starting May 7th at 7:00pm PST going through 20 total sessions running from levels 1st - 17th. This game costs $10 for each player for a 3 to 4 hour session, paid via the Startplaying.games website. Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements. Each session has up to 5 player spaces, and players are encouraged to join for what games they can make, and skip those they cannot. The ninth season of D&D Adventurers League campaigns is titled Inglorious Redemption after the ambitions of one of its protagonists. Characters have the opportunity to accompany a mysterious young girl into the hellscape as she searches for the 'Holy Hellrider' souls that remain untarnished despite being trapped in Avernus. Ride hell-vehicles and eviscerate demons in the most badass, Mad-Max, hellscape adventure out there. This game will be using Adventure League rules for character creation and equipment restrictions. Adventure League information . What I Provide I've been a Dungeon Master for decades, with a focus on players stories and a safe space to let people explore the realms in the way they want. It's important the me that all players are having a good time, even when things go terribly wrong. I will have adventure modules loaded and ready to play in roll20. Most adventures include battle maps, tokens, and player handouts. I also include sound effects, voice changes, and hopefully loads of fun! Game-play details Each game is a Module for the Season 9. Modules are 3 to 4 hours long and usually have a self contained adventure within the overall campaign arc. Towards the end of the series (levels 9 and higher), Modules can extend to multiple sessions. Characters should either be on the Roll20 website or D&D Beyond website. Players are expected to create their characters, log the games played and items gained, and level up their character appropriately in compliance with the general rules for D&D Adventure league organized play. Other information I use Discord for Voice chat (video chat not required), and allow players to use D&D beyond characters so long as they have a plug-in that allows integrated dice rolls with roll20 (such as beyond20).
