Why do rogues wear leather armor? Because it’s made of hide. 🥷

[LFG][DnD5e] Semi-experienced Player looking to Play Druid

I've essentially moved to a new state, and I don't really know anyone. I'm really interested in playing some Dungeons and Dragons like I used to about two years back with my friends, and something inside me has recently sparked that passion again. I've got a really interesting idea for a character that I'm going to be putting an actual backstory in and would like to play a dps-support hybrid. I'm new to Roll20 so I don't know the difference between free and paid game-types. I'm available most nights, and I at minimum would like to play once a week at a scheduled time. I'd realistically would love to join a fresh campaign where I can get in on the ground floor, and would love to have a lengthy campaign. I'm looking for a +18 oriented group, to where I don't have to hold myself back so-to-speak; and I'm LGBTQ+ advocate. Hoping to meet some likeminded people to share an adventure with and really cement myself into a fantasy world again. My previous experiences of playing DnD were very lax as it was a excuse for my irl friends to meetup and smoke and drink, while keeping the majority of our focus on the game. My longest campaign was about 8 months.
You know... Bruce Lee once said " I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times." If this were true then how many people do you think would only play 1 video game? I know I don't and even with Mr. Lee's advice I wouldn't. So why follow it when it comes to gaming? Why try only one system? Why just play what everyone else is playing? We don't do the same for languages, we try to preserve them! We should do the same for other games. Games like 13th Edition. (6 editions better than 5e!) https://www.13thagesrd.com/classes/Druid/ Give it a look. It's definitely not 5e, but you can play it none the less... u2CJrjmQ
Hey there! If you're still looking for a group, my friends and I are setting up a game. We're planning on playing Dragon of Icespire Peak, and are looking for a few more players to round us out! We're very LGBTQ+ friendly, and are all 21+. Shoot me a message here or on Discord, my username is kirstianity#1539
