Hello, I have been frantically searching for a solution to this and found many forum posts that have yet to help. My issue is one of ambition, I wanted to create a single huge map of a building complex that will serve as the stage for an entire campaign. The map is huge, I filled it with many free images from the content browser. For example the walls of the building are the same copy and pasted 4x2 image of stone. However now that I have nearly completed the map I have seen the error of my ways. Taking any further actions on the map takes forever, I have even closed every other tab and application on my computer and it still is barely able to respond. (and i havent even added the dynamic lighting yet). It is clear this slowdown is due to the immense number of individual images on the map at a time. I want to take all the stuff from the map layer, save it as one very large, high res image, and then paste that in as the only image making up the background. I have done some searching and found the following solutions, below I will share why they do not work in this case: 1. Make the map in GIMP or other image software: The map has been made and precisely structured, repeating the hours of work to try to line everything up again is not an option. 2. take screenshots and stitch them together: I have found no easy way to stitch screenshots together to prevent overlap, but even if I did this map is too big to fit in a single screen, so even with my largest monitor taking that many screenshots and putting them together may not be a good idea. 3. Use this https://gist.github.com/seleb/690228f38e3ef4e497760d646e6c8d8d : Now we're talking, an easy script to collect the entire map and save as an image? sign me up. however when i Run this as described and when it comes time to save it just saves an HTML file which does not have the map in it. (it works on smaller maps so perhaps it is a size issue?) 4. This forum post https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/7832297/a-map-exporting-solution : Another script that supposedly does what i need. Unfortunately it is windows only and I am windows-computer-less. Even if i managed to get a windows computer that does not mean this will work (as with the other script that was equally promising) If anyone knows how I could solve this problem, or why either of these scripts is behaving in this strange way I would really appreciate the help. (I have a few weeks before the game is meant to begin)
