
THIS GAME IS NOW FULL! A virulent, contagious plague sweeps the realm. Victims, who are afflicted by painful pustules and boils, don't survive long after becoming infected. The King has consulted his wisest magicians and soothsayers, but none of them have been successful in curing the devastating scourge. He has, however, learned of a powerful dwarven alchemist who practices his arcane craft in a faraway land. This renowned alchemist, named Durzh, is known far and wide for his magical antidotes and remedies. Surely, one such as he could concoct a serum that would cure the disease that ails the people of this realm! But there's a problem - no one has heard from Durzh in quite some time.... The King has now hired you and a band of other capable adventurers to make the long journey to the mountain home of the legendary alchemist, with the promise of 500gp each if you are successful. Can you travel to Durzh's mountaintop eyrie, discover the truth behind his mysterious disappearance, and convince him to save the people of the realm? Or will the affliction that besets the kingdom spell the end for all? The Alchemist's Eyrie is a 3.5 edition D&D module from Wizards of the Coast that I've updated for 5th edition D&D. This adventure is a mystery with a focus on combat and traps. This is a game for 4-5 players at level 6. We'll complete this adventure in a single session lasting approximately 4 hours. We'll be using a 27 point buy for stats. Players have starting class equipment and one free uncommon magic item available to them.
