Hi,

I am in a game that does not use API script.  Can I still have chat button menus that do macros or is that not possible without API?

Chat menu buttons are part of base Roll20 functionality.  It doesn't require anything.

As Kraynic said, you can use them, you'll just need to manually create them instead of using API script generated ones like those from TokenAction
