Both the Seers and the Pentacle Orders in Omaha, Nebraska have banned together in order to prevent extinction as a new force has emerged that threatens both groups. New Mages are quickly grabbed and secured behind walls of veiling spells to keep them safe until they can be trained to survive. Summoning Supernal Beings have been banned as well as other large group activities to keep detection to a minimum. Communication is all done through technology as spatial magic is also forbidden. Tensions are building between all Orders, bringing into question how long they can all work together as each Order has their own strategies for defeating this new foe. Rumors of alliances between the Seers and the Silver Ladder have begun spreading as they both want to secure their own command in this new world order. Strange things have been happening since the arrival of this new threat, natural Hallows have become dormant and other odd mysteries have popped up here and there. Some believe this new threat are creations from the Exarchs coming down to wipe out the mage community, while others believe it is some insane left-over Atlantean creations that have escaped after thousands of years being tucked away somewhere. Regardless, magic has changed and the mages are well-aware of that simple fact. Some mages believe they should simply flee Nebraska, while others believe they should stay and fight to steal back their home, while others believe that maybe negotiating with this new threat is a possibility in order to achieve peace.
