Ok, I would assume you've got a style overriding what you're setting there. Either in your css, or in the Roll20 default styles. It is likely using a higher specificity than your css there. Use the inspector on the sheet (specifically the computed tab), and see what style declaration is being applied to your left border width, color, and/or style. If the style declaration that is overwriting your style is coming from your code, then you can adjust what classes you are using, or adjust the specificity of the overwriting style. If it is coming from Roll20's defaults, you'll need to increase the specificity of your CSS declaration. I like to prepend all my character sheet css with .ui-dialog .tab-content .charsheet ; it's overkill for many things, but makes writing the CSS less confusing cause then I use the same base specificity for everything in the sheet.
