Good evening, my name is Karma! I am an amateur DM looking to host a game for players who wish to utilize their inner spy. I'm a longtime player, having DM'd for a campaign that lasted for around a year. My game is mostly utilizing the 5e module with a bit of homebrew tailored to 5e. The setting and plot are something I've made. The game will be 5e and take place on either Saturdays at 7pm EST or Sundays at 7pm EST [Eastern Standard Time] I am looking for players who aren't looking for something too serious, or are new to the game and willing to learn. I have one player who has played some campaigns in the past, and another who is new-ish to 5e and is willing to learn. Two would be more than enough, but, four would really round out the party. Any more than that, however, is pushing it. I incorporate both roleplay and encounters in hopes of providing an engaging experience. I do lean a bit towards combat encounters, so, if you're looking to test the limits of your classes in that respect, then I'm the DM for you. The game's general plot is that one of the local lords has betrayed a king, taking the region he was tasked to protect as his own. The player characters have been freshly trained by a group of assassins, and are ready for their first mission: to dethrone the tyrant lord. The campaign has multiple branching paths, each with set plot points that will allow me to build different scenarios based on what the players choose to do. Side with the your client The King, your teacher The Master of Songbirds, or even the tyrant himself. Heck, you could just forgo your training and turn to raiding caravans. Plenty of bandits in this chaotic time. Use guile, cunning, and charisma to work your way into this new society. What will you do to help shape this region? The game is intended to be difficult, with an entire legion of troops under the tyrant's rule, and independent bandit tribes, that will react and evolve over time. As the game goes on, players will be able to recruit NPCs in order to bolster the party's ranks for larger encounters. Beware, this means that players will be responsible for multiple sheets. It can be a lot to keep track of. If this interests you or if you have any questions about the game please send me a message here. I will need some time to work and develop maps so this is something for late fall.
