We are 5 players formed from the fallout of 2 other campaigns from a DM we all shared that in fact drew us all together. Thanks be to that DM for forging our bonds. We then went on the search of finding a DM to run a campaign for us - one in which ideally we could really grow our characters and take part in the world of the DM (ideally homebrew). Unfortunately we didn't find the right match the first time round but we are still thankful to that DM for allowing us to get the "how'd you all meet?" out of the way in character so to speak before he became very negative and impossible to communicate with despite us already paying in advance. Happens i guess.  These write ups are from the players themselves after a few sessions of playing these characters too, but still quite lacking any real DEPTH that would come from having been immersed in a world long enough. Some multiclasses listed potentially wouldn't feature till much later in the campaign dependent on story/flavour of course. We're a flavour & story first sort of group. Our party: Ore | Orc - Zealot Barbarian/Oath of Conquest Paladin | Played by Pixie - Late 20's & Plenty of DM & Player Experience | A 7"4, overly literate, overly literal, overly specific fey orc who once in a while lets himself lose on the battlefield with his great axe. Ore is most definitely the most reliable source of intel. Most definitely. Absolutely. Yup. A protector of his buddies and the captain obvious if we had one - but not in a way you're likely to ever guess ahead of time. Unable to lie whether by choice or conviction, Ore is just your common welcoming, typically friendly, smash and bash, poetic speaker, big cuddly Orc. Chance the Smith | Goliath - Forge Cleric/Armorer Artificer | Played by Josh - Mid 30's & Plenty of DM & Player Experience | A veteran of battles past, Chance is an experienced and settled forger and smith in his mid 40's. Forging weapons, armour and the little things after years learning what makes money in towns and cities. There's politicking, merchant trade and there's the craftsmen and he was never great with conversations. While not necessarily anti religion, Chance definitely has no place in his heart for any sort of "God" or clergy/order. He serves his anvil, his hammer, the steel that glows hot and rings out. That's what he worships and where his faith resides. Mulberry | Pixie - Circle of the Moon Druid | Played by Buck - Late 20's & Couple years Player Experience | A rather Young and spry Pixie - Mulberry has always found himself at ease when wandering the local groves and dipping in and out of the fey wild to play tricks on unsuspecting travelers. He has left his home in the Feywild in search of rare herbs and plants needed to help stop the withering and decay of his home grove. A magical and enchanted place in the Feywild, where pixies, monsters, and wonder all coexist. Rocky | Human - Battlemaster Fighter (Archer) | Played by Gee - Mid 30's & Experienced player (last few years) | The youngest of 4 girls, Rocky grew up far from the "proper" domestic gender stereotypes expected of her, much to her parents dismay. A gentleman husband turned controlling domineering prick, several pregnancies unable to carry to term and a world of lacking support around her led Rocky to grab her bow and quiver and hit the road. Taking position as a guard for some time allowed her to hone her craft. Now Rocky is out in the world - free from the confines of control, domestication and limitations. Cykano | Aarakocra - Bard/ Fey Wanderer Ranger | Played by CG - Mid 20's, DM & player experience | A fey wandering feathered friend, Cykano is our muso, bartender, and all around rad guy. With a bow strung lute in hand his songs (and he himself) soar above us all - songs that sit at about 137% volume (+ or - how many drinks he/we have had). He's got a fun personality, both cheeky and supportive even so much as to offering the group his signature cocktail (he's a bird remember) of the week - both in game and IRL. Cykano brings the flair to the group and so far is thoroughly invested in finding the right attire for the job too. He also ensures we all get paid and paid well. Very well. So far (in character) we have met, saved a small town from a disease/pox/outbreak and have now ventured into the world on yonder. If that transition helps us venture into your world then awesome. If not - we're happy to scrap it and enter your world either as best it fits or as an established party. What will come of us next? For a DM: - Respect...for the world, the players, the characters and the role play. If our PC's are constantly interrupted to enforce your narrative rail road, maybe not. - Immersion - let us win, let us fail, let us impact the world around us and be impacted by it - The WANT to play with us, but let us play to (we don't want to feel like NPCs) - Rules - know them. Or don't. Just be consistent and graceful with us as we will be with you. - Communication - this is big. We don't expect you at our beg and call, but if you're impossible to reach - you're impossible to reach. - We're comfortable paying between 10-15 a session depending of course on obvious things we'd discuss and agree to. - Don't aim to be the next Matt Mercer or perfect at all times etc. Please just be you. We'd rather experience and fun than showboating. - There are 3 "streamers" in the group (1 YouTube, 2 Twitch). If this is a bother - we're open to chat about it. Just FYI. You can post here, DM on roll 20 and we can chat more from there on discord. This is the link to the game
