Hello fellow gamers, Our group (currently 1 GM and two players) is looking for 1-2 more fun, reliable players to top up our numbers. We play Sunday evenings at 8:00 pm EST, and our sessions generally last 2-2.5 hours. I am an experienced GM (see my profile) looking for mature players that are interested in a variety of different rpgs. My plan is to alternate between two different campaigns along with the odd one shot adventure that we play. The campaign you see this listing posted for is a sword and sorcery setting (think Conan inspired instead of Lord of the Rings inspired) that uses the Savage Worlds rpg engine and the Beasts and Barbarians setting. The other campaign I’d like to run will likely be one of the following: Call of Cthulhu or D&D Experience with these game systems is not required. What is required are reliable players that are happy to explore different games and try new things. What’s in it for you: A friendly, respectful and committed GM who has been consistently running games for 30+ years and puts a lot of effort into prepping sessions. A GM who tries to be fair with his rulings and ensure that everyone has fun, gets a chance to shine and engage in the sessions. Player agency (I try to make sure my games give players a lot of freedom to explore their characters, the setting and make interesting decisions). Fellow players that are at the table to have fun and also ensure that everyone else is having fun and feeling respected and valued. What our group is looking for in a player: Players that are friendly, respectful and reliable (e.g. will communicate if they are unable to attend a session). Players that are available Sunday’s from 8:00-10:30- the time slot isn’t really negotiable. Players that are happy to try out new things and help make the game fun for everyone. Players that get into the roleplay and storytelling aspect of the game Players that will be proactive and engage with the settings to help create fun and exciting games sessions. Players that are mature enough to handle bad things happening to their characters (e.g., character death). Interested?
