New character token integration feature does not use configured default settings of campaign

As per the new feature that lets token properties be edited directly from the character journal: https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/11113164/character-token-and-art-library-access-for-players When I create a new character, then go to edit and select "Edit Token Properties", the "see" and "edit" settings on the token do not match my campaign default settings. For instance here are my default options as set in the campaign settings: Player Permissions <Name> is set that players can edit. And as you can see below, the settings for the newly generated character do not match.

Have you applied the updates in the game? To do that you go to the My Settings tab in the game, then click Miscellaneous, then Apply Default Settings, select the options you want to apply. Note: there is currently a bug where the token settings are only updated on a page by page basis rather than campaign-wide as they are supposed to be applied.
Hi Gauss, thanks for the reply. I do not want to use the in-game Apply Default Settings because I have different tokens with different settings, and that option will forcefully apply the default to all of them. I know that the game in general uses my default settings...If I upload an image to the table and open up it's token settings, it's set to my desired defaults. This is how it has always worked. However if I create a new character and use the new feature to directly edit it's token settings from the edit window, the default settings are not applied. So the old way still works, the new way does not. This is why I reported it as a bug. Thanks, Stephen

So that I understand completely can you provide specific reproduction steps and then provide steps that you would expect it to function as? Nevermind, I see the problem. Reproduction steps: 1) Create character 2) Edit token from character sheet, it is missing the game settings. 3) Drop new token from character on table. It has the settings as per the game's settings. I would suggest filing a bug report here as the forums are primarily for users helping users.
Thanks, report filed.
