What Table Top RPGs tend to be the most diverse?

I've played Rogue Trader and other Warhammer 40k games for three years now and it's almost always straight, white men. And it's kind of tiring, as a south asian guy, because I'm trying to find a more diverse group to play with. Warhammer 40k tends to attract a certain crowd of people (i.e. a lot of racists) and I'm just kind of tired of dealing with it. Does anyone know any other Table top RPGs that I can GM or play in and feel welcome? Thanks

That sucks there was game groups where you faced that. My starting recommendation is vetting your gaming group using Roll20's ways to meet the players, and keep trying until you find the best fit. I think any game SYSTEM in the Roll20 LFG could be viable if the group members are good. In terms of Roll20 I'd say read the LFG listings closely, and click on the Roll20 profiles of the GM and participants before any Session Zero meetings, before even applying. Look for clues that you identify there. Recommended game systems to look into, The whole line of TTRPG's by Evil Hat, this stemmed from the "FATE" game originally, https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/search?author=Evil%20Hat%20Productions Tormenta, ultra-popular RPG in Brazil, now going widely international, https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/module/19562/tormenta20-introductory-kit Coyote and Crow, new game that just Kickstarted and released, has diversity at its core, https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/publisher/1923/coyote-and-crow There are many others, or again, any game system on Roll20 with a good group! Happy adventuring.
I appreciate the nuance and understanding. The issue is that I've been in twelve Rogue Trader or Warhammer 40k games and all but two of them ended quite badly precisely because the community is very racist. I'm just tired of dealing with it and am interested in migrating to another game system that I can play at in UTC+11 times. After the events of today I'm giving up on playing 40K rpgs, at least in the near future. It appears that very, very few respect me and I'm sick of it. So for those ones that you stated above is there a good place where I can just get some free books?
While some games may be more attractive to people with racist tendencies in the end it is the GM who is responsible for what happens at his or her table and in my opinion any good GM will clamp down on any type of discrimination quickly. I can't guarantee that all the games will be what you are after but one place to look on Roll20 is https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/9884/australia-and-new-zealand-tavern-raiders-association as I believe that is your timezone at least. It isn't an actual game, but a place where people can gather and use the forum to advertise games specifically aimed at players who want to play in that timezone. If you do find a game you are interested in have a long chat with the GM and make sure they realise the problems you have encountered in the past and that you want to make sure it wont' happen again. It would probably also be worth working out what type of things are your triggers and likely to upset you, both what can be said out of character and what might happen in character. I hope you can find a game that is to your liking, no one should have to put up with any type of discrimination at the table.

I think the problem is that I've been playing Warhammer 40k games for a very long time. Unfortunately, though I've enjoyed it, Warhammer is sadly a game that attracts plenty of racists. It's basically a fascists wet dream and whilst the setting is good and I love the decentralization of warfare (to create your own stories) I feel like I have to leave because I can't stand it anymore. I love this setting and love the RPGs but sadly the community doesn't love me. Today what happened is that two players instantly cancelled out when they realized I was South Asian. Though they didn't say it I have a very strong inkling that this was the reason and it's a bit sad. I can't play here anymore because even with the best of circumstances I'm always fighting to prove myself and feel stressed out playing. And I should. I shouldn't have to be a GM to attract players. I should be begging for scraps. I'm sorry. I'm just tired.
