Directional Daylight?

Hey all,  Is there any clever way to make use of "directional daylight"? I'd like to use the Daylight feature in dynamic lighting ion maps where my players can move into and out of a structure during the day. The inside of the structure has no light sources within, except for windows. I want the inside of this area to be darker except for when light is let in through windows or doors. I really don't want to have to place a light source token outside every window. I'd place one source and set the radius of light to be 1000' or whatever, but it originates from a single small point, so all the light coming through windows will be a different angles. Obviously sunlight is unidirectional for our purposes.  Any ideas? Thanks!
‘Daylight’ will illuminate all areas of the map.  The only way to get some areas of the map illuminated but not others is to place several light tokens around the area you want lit up.  When I’ve done this before, I set 100’ bright light sources around the periphery of the structure on the wall so that none of that light enters the structure. Then I put 10/10’ lights just at the edge of each window, so that there is a mild  illumination inside the building.  Usually it’s not too time consuming to do once you’ve created the two different light sources. Just cut and paste them to the various spots around.
Okay, fair enough! I was just hoping there was some secret clever way to create directional light that wasn't radiating from a point. Like, creating the location of the sun, so all the light could be the same direction.
I'd love this kind of feature. Currently I use a token called "Moon" (TL;DR It's a legacy name) that I place around the map outside of any buildings. The token has bright light set OFF and low light set ON with a 75 ft. radius. I change the low light to either 20% or 100% (moonlight or daylight) using a script with TokenMod commands. This works reasonably well except that depending on the map, it can generate some weird shadows.    Being able to generate a LINE that emits light unidirectionally would help a lot.
Yeah... I was playing around with lighting a hallway with a row of windows, so a point source would cause all the window lighting to be at different angles. A LINE is a good way to describe that!
